character and charm!
unique character fabulous atmosphere quality option easy swimming
I appreciated the hotel's unique character. It really stood out. the bar and restaurant had a fabulous atmosphere. breakfast was a treat, offering quality options. its proximity to the tidal pool made swimming very easy!
The museum curation felt a little chaotic. I wished for more focus on the hotel's history specifically.

My room was really good and large. It also offered comfort. a balcony enhanced the seaside vibe significantly. the room had good space and facilities!

The hotel showcased lots of history. There was even a lift from 1927. museum cubby holes on each floor added constant fun! the veranda featured beautiful flowers.

The breakfast was very good. Various foods provided many options. the hotel owner greeted guests in the mornings. She also enticed them to eat more.

the location is near the tidal pool and beach. the town centre is not too far, only a 20 minutes walk along the seafront. the farmers market had excellent produce.

Charming and Unique Stay
quiet lift pink snooker table interesting artefacts sea view
The lift with self-operated doors was quiet. The pink snooker table in the basement added a unique element. The artefacts on the second floor were wonderful to view. Every bedroom had a sea view, lovely.. I found the location great, away from the main bustle but still accessible.
I had some difficulty operating the old turn tap design in the bathroom.

The room offered a view of the sea, and included a comfortable bed. I found the overall atmosphere to have an historic charm. It was clean and well kept.

The hotel features an original self-operated lift. I enjoyed using the snooker table located in the basement. The second floor displayed interesting artefacts to view .

Breakfast included a good buffet. I noticed they kept refilling the fresh fruit constantly. I appreciated the choices for breakfast.

cracked varnish cold room
Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it.
The room furniture varnish was cracked and needed replacing. The bed seemed like a brick. I could not sleep. There was no duvet provided, so I was cold.

freshly cooked food friendly staff colorful flowers
The breakfast had a generous selection with tasty, freshly cooked food! i found the staff very friendly. They seemed to know their roles perfectly. the colorful flowers outside the front looked fine, cute guests.
The furniture varnish in my room was cracked. It needed some care.
